DESCRIPTIONOriginally designed for high-speed wahoo trolling on Florida’s east coast, Plumbus HS is our high-speed solid lead head trolling lure. Our bullet head and offset lumen results in incredible lifelike action at high speeds. This skirted trolling lure is deadly on all large offshore species.
Troll it at a variety of speeds, from 7 to 15+ kts without any additional trolling weight.
Try rigging four or more Plumbus HS on a single strand of 400+ lb mono to make the best marlin teaser in the business.
To fish deeper in the water column, try rigging a dead bait, large curly-tail, or large paddle-tail soft plastic, and troll from 1-3 kts. You can also use any Plumbus without a hook as a weighted teaser with 10+ ft of leader behind it and a live bait.
Plumbus lures can also be jigged on the bottom while slow trolling/drifting for stripers, halibut, amberjack, grouper, snapper, and other bottom fish.
