DESCRIPTIONThis is the world’s first trolling lure with a bent lumen. The bent lumen causes the nose of the lure to dive, and results in a beautiful erratic side to side action. This was designed to be a propwash bait, and runs closer behind the boat than any other skirted trolling lure on the market. We recommend using 400-500 lb mono, as the stiffness of the leader actually lends to the diving action of the lure.
Troll it at a variety of speeds, from 7 to 12 kts without any additional trolling weight.
Try rigging either with or without a hook as a fantastic marlin teaser.
To fish deeper in the water column, try rigging a dead bait, large curly-tail, or large paddle-tail soft plastic, and troll from 1-5 kts.
Plumbus lures can also be jigged on the bottom while slow trolling/drifting for stripers, halibut, amberjack, grouper, snapper, and other bottom fish.
